Darlo
Grandstand

Some of Australia's most exciting artists takeover the Darlo mainstage in this rolling program of diverse performances

Darlo Grandstand is community first. It’s where artists come to play and challenge, and where audiences come to connect and be understood.

Darlo Grandstand is our rolling program of one-off or short-season performances in our upstairs theatre. Programmed alongside our 2022 Mainstage Season, we look for work that is riveting, outlandish, visceral and of-the-moment. Whether we’re inviting emerging artists to take up space, or staging an award-winning Cabaret performer, Darlo Grandstand will reignite your lust for live performance and have you coming back again and again.

Darlo Grandstand is home to Revolution Renegade (spoken word poetry and live music jams) hosted and curated by Mel Ree. Check out what’s coming up below, with new shows added as we program them throughout the year.

Milan Ring “I’m Feeling Hopeful” Tour

With support for the album mounting on the digital front, it's her live shows that breathe life into these songs in a way that is yet to be experienced. There's nothing quite like a Milan Ring live show. As a multi instrumentalist Milan freely moves between creating loops, dropping beats and triggering samples, all whilst effortlessly shredding on the guitar and ensnaring us with her treacle-like vocals. This tour she'll be taking to the road with her full band to give the album the live treatment it so calls for.
