Live performance has the ability to enhance a student’s learning by bringing stories to life and providing deeper insights into the work. We aim to provide school students and teachers with greater access to theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes.

- Weekday 11am matinee for selected shows
- Weekend matinee for selected Saturday’s throughout the season
- Discounted tickets for school group bookings, valid for all performances (excluding Saturday evenings)
- $28 student tickets for school groups accompanied by a teacher
- One complimentary teacher’s ticket for every group of ten students
- A complimentary double pass to a preview performance to give teachers the opportunity to experience the production before bringing students
- Venue and safety information to assist with the preparation of a risk management plan when bringing students to our theatre, Eternity Playhouse

Booking tickets for your school group
To book tickets for a school group or for more information:
- Call 02 8356 9987 between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- Email theatre@darlinghursttheatre.com
- Download the Schools Booking Form, then post your completed form to Darlinghurst Theatre Company, 39 Burton Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010. Or scan and email it to theatre@darlinghurttheatre.com
Payment for school bookings can be made via EFT, cheque or credit card.
If you require an invoice prior to payment, please fill in details on the Schools Booking Form.
Full payment is due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the performance and secures the booking.
