The Importance of Being Earnest

By Oscar Wilde

A legendary play that is one of the wittiest comedies in the English language on an intimate stage? Outstanding!

Nicholas Papademetriou brings the grandness of Oscar Wilde’s greatest and most popular work to our intimate theatre, creating a rare experience of an incredible classic.

Bachelors Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff are having the best of both worlds. Quite literally. They’ve both invented convenient double lives that allow them to do and behave however they please without tarnishing their reputations.

However when they both fall in love, to ladies who both want to marry a man called Ernest, the truth, as always, catches up with them and now they must try and make their fictional lives a reality.
