WITS' Festival FATALE 2018
Produced by Women in Theatre and Screen in partnership with Darlinghurst Theatre Company
27 October, 2018
Celebrating guts, freedom of expression and diversity, WITS’ critically acclaimed Festival Fatale is back again in 2018!
A one-of-a-kind women’s theatre festival, which aims to produce and create ground-breaking, contemporary and vibrant feminist theatre for audiences in Sydney, Festival Fatale will bring together a program of incredible theatre - with performances, readings, panel discussions, special introductions and networking opportunities. Most importantly, the content of the Festival will reflect the diversity of women living in Sydney. We will work tirelessly to bring this project to fruition and provide the Sydney community with access to high quality artistry that will not otherwise be seen in 2018.
Featuring staged readings of new plays by Western Sydney playwright Monikka Eliah, Djungan writer Phoebe Grainer and Papua New Guinean Wendy Mocke, as well as performances of new works by Perth theatre maker Susie Conte, Sydney body poet Sabrina D’Angelo and Melbourne comedienne Lana Scwarcz, Festival Fatale is a a celebration of women in theatre.
Tickets can be purchased for single events, multiple events or for the whole festival.
