An Unfortunate Woman

By Nicola Gunn

An Unfortunate Woman is a beautiful tale told with warmth and subversive comedy about the story of three separate lives that eventually collide. It is a mystery, a love story and a quest. Nicola Gunn’s masterful performance sets forth a gallery of characters in a world reminiscent of Dickens and Kafka.

An invitation to a party and an unregistered file at the Registry of Births and Deaths sets a series of events in motion emerging through an imperceptible accumulation of scenes that result in a thrilling climax.
