A spectacular, seering and sexy new Australian comedy
Six struggling artists. One call centre.
A bunch of co-workers are secretly writing a play about Martin, their boss - and nemesis - in the hope of winning a playwriting competition. But Martin has penned his own play about his dysfunctional staff and their thwarted lives, which he leaves on their desks as a parting gift and wake up call.
The Lunch Hour is a dark contemporary comedy about what we all do to get through the day – the distractions we create and the games that we play. Chris Aronsten's follow up to Human Resources, previously staged at Darlinghurst Theatre, is every bit as ambitious, dark and hilarious.
Visit the company blog for regular updates from the rehearsal room.
Warning: This show contains coarse language and adult themes. A lockout applies to all performances of The Lunch Hour. No latecomers will be admitted.
