We’re very proud to be launching DTC Talks, the first in our series of forums that deepens the discussion provoked by our theatre productions.
Kindertransport highlights the plight of children refugees which is still prevalent today, and the impact this has on the generations to follow. Over 10,000 unaccompanied children endured one of the biggest plights for freedom, escaping the Nazi regime. Inspired by true accounts, Darlinghurst Theatre Company is proud to stage one story out of the thousands living in the memories of those still with us.
Our guest speakers include:
- Amy Lamoin, Acting Director of Policy and Advocacy at UNICEF Australia
- Dr. Ella Dreyfus, Daughter of Kindertransport Survivor, Visual Artist and Head of Public Programs at the National Art School
- Karen Midalia, Daughter of Kindertransport Survivor and Guide at the Sydney Jewish Museum
- Sandra Eldridge, Director of Kindertransport
Moderated by Sophie Blacklaw, DTC.
